i'm not a mother. yet. but i do know how hard it is to be. and as i age, i do understand my mom more and more each day. and i know that i am turning like her in so many ways.. i can share her concerns, fears, proud moments, excitements, happiness more deeply. i now can clearly see reasons why she has always been apprehensive through out my childhood. those sleepless nights, those waits by the window, one ear always listening our breath.. to raise a child in this world might be the most difficult thing ever. at least for me it is. but she did it. along with many others. who are all proud of their beautiful daughters. daughters that are turned into friends. mothers who are now best friend to many daughters that they can trust no matter what. because we all know that it is always our mothers who will be there for us no matter what. and i do feel that more each day. that bond grows more than instinctively. as daughters, we do want our moms to be with us at our best, at our lows.. it is their shoulder that gives us the comfort, and it is their hand that gives us the strength to keep moving..it is their pain when we are in one. it is their joy when we have it all.. where no other can..
thank you mom, for raising me into strong, confident woman like yourself.. and i am so proud to be your daughter. i love you so much.

ben anne degilim. ya da henüz olmadım diyelim. ama anne olmanın ne kadar zor oldugunu biliyorum. yasım büyükdükçe, tecrübelerim arttıkça annemi her geçen gün daha da iyi anlıyorum ve biliyorum ki gün geçtikçe ona daha da çok benziyorum. endiselerini, hüzünlerini, mutluluklarını, heyecanlarını, korkularını, hayallerini simdi daha da net görüyor ve paylasıyorum. tüm o uykusuz gecelerini, pencere önünde merakla bekleyislerini, hastalandıgımda nefeslerimi dinleyislerini, ayrı kaldıgımızdaki özlemlerini..bu hayata bir çocuk getirmek ve büyütmek dünyanın en zor seylerinden biri. en azindan benim için öyle. ama sen bunu basardın annem. diger bütün kızlarıyla gurur duyan annelerle beraber. kız çocuktan öte arkadas olanlar; anneden öte her konuda güvenebilecek dost olanlar.. çünkü hepimiz biliyoruz her seye ragmen en sonunda yanımızda olanlar annelerimizden baskası degil. bunu her geçen gün daha da net hisediyorum. ve bu his içgüdüsellikten de öte bir sekilde büyüyor..biz kız çocuklar iyisiyle kötüsüyle, her anımızda annemiz yanımızda olsun istiyoruz. omuzlarında huzuru buluyor, ellerinden güç alıyor ve ilerlemeye devam ediyoruz. kimseler hisetmezken bizim acımız onların acısı, bizim sevinçlerimiz onların sevinçleri oluyor..
