brighton family session

all mighty always windy brighton with my favorite family. one thing is for sure a great thing for a business is the returning client. means that your client is utterly satisfied with your work and you loved working with them too. photographing burcu, ozan and leyla two years in a row is first an honor and than a great memory maker both for them and me. witnessing her baby girl to grow up and freezing those moments to a timeless souvenirs is just an indescribable feeling. if you wanna check out leyla's 1st year session click here and you'll see how much she grew up and how burcu and ozan are still gorgeous looking parents! 

even though it was early july, we still had jackets on and occasionally sun on our heads and the wind never left us alone.  but we still had great time especially leyla where she posed and threw laughs around like a pro! i really cannot wait to meet their new family member in this june and see leyla as a big sister! until then here is lovely brighton with this lovely family of 3 <3

july wedding in flamm, bodrum

it was the first time that i had the worst flu in the middle of the summer time but i still had great time at this wedding of defne and caglar. surrounded with lots of love, friends and family from all around, they picked july for a beach wedding. defne in her dreamy inbal dror gown was just so gorgeous. flamm was decorated in cosy beach style by la bonbonniere events with bougainvilleas and fresh fruits..  they had food station scattered around allow all the guests to enjoy open buffet. they danced and celebrated their love til the first lights of the morning..hope you'll enjoy that dreamy day as much as i did.. don't forget to show some love at the end <3

purple and blue my love is forever for you..

it was a beautiful june day and tugçe and gökçe got married with such a great celebration in istanbul! 

it was a blue purple neatly arranged wedding at hekim basi yalisi, one of my favorite venues in istanbul to get marry! as a talented and creative bride, tugçe designed their invitations and did the guest give aways by her self. which in my opinion added an extra dose of sincerity to their wedding. getting ready in beautiful sumahan hotel, travel to the venue by boat on the bosphorus was magical. honestly, tugçe's hair and make up has been one of my favorites of this past year's weddings. her hair was done by talented zamir kabak and her make up was by yasin sefik. they are both mostly in fashion but they are really great artists! zamir even created a different hair style with a spare veil for tugçe and we got to photograph her in with her special zeynep erdogan design dress. we had a great time both during getting ready and before the ceremony for the couple shot. i cannot say enough for the staff of the hekim basi yalisi and how they do great job on each wedding! and the food that is served. everything was sincere and neat and very beautiful! you can relive those moments with the video of lovely dugme film at the end of the post as usual! we later even had the chance to do an after wedding session at beautiful alaçatı, çesme, which is my favorite among my sessions. tugçe's natural beauty and their energy as a couple made that session even better than ever. the californian like golden light, beautiful beach, colorful streets of alaçatı.. everything was magical.. 

dear tugçe and gökçe, thank you so very much for choosing to work with me! it was really an honor to be a part of your special day! you guys are incredibly great together and i am so so happy to get to meet you! i hope to meet in the future projects too!

beach love

they melt my heart... 

when we had our first meeting with damla and volkan in new york at ace hotel, i knew that this wedding is going to be special.  the picture of their wedding in their mind was so clear that i could see what i was going to experience! and i did.. starting from the first day! a day before their amazing wedding (which will be soon on the blog too!) i had the privilege to capture their love at this gorgeous beach of sarıgerme, (which is also one of my favorites in whole turkey) where damla actually grew up too. despite of the rain we managed to enjoy the every bit of the sea, sand and a little sunshine that peeked at us every once in a while.  they do warm my heart and they melt it with their love to each other.. hope you all can feel it the way i do too!

a happy place to be..

sarıgerme is one of my best locations in south of turkey.. it is very well preserved with great long coast line.  listening the sound of the waves, feeling the breeze in my hair, taking a long walk on the sand; there i am in my happy place.. 

this time i arrived for a preseason wedding here where it is early spring and i can smell orange blossoms everywhere..

i do ask this question to myself: why am i wasting my time in a big city where you cannot even smell the roses anymore? my soul needs some rest, in this peaceful quite beautiful nature..
